Web design is a service that everyone, their dog and their neighbor’s dog is offering nowadays. You here about your friend who can do it, your cousin Jimmy can do it, the guy pumping your gas has probably even done it too. The question you need to ask yourself is this. Do I trust these people to market my business to the world? Is web design actually Jimmy’s day job or is it simply a hobby? The problem with all of the web designers out there in the market today is that they are just that… web designers.
Unfortunately, the majority don’t have the technical skills to back up their designs. So while a web site may look okay to the untrained eye, beware of what lies beneath. They say it’s what’s inside that really counts and nothing rings truer where web design is concerned. We caution anyone trying to save some dollars and go with the amateurs on this one.
